How to prevent your WhatsApp account from hackers

WhatsApp has become  part of our daily  lives in today today's activity. While the platform makes it convenient to stay in touch and share media, there is always a threat of a WhatsApp account getting hacked giving access to important documents or OTPs shared through the platform. This can be prevented if users have two-factor authentication or two-step verification activated.

The two-step verification works as an extra layer for security reasons and helps WhatsApp users to protect their OTPs and documents shared through WhatsApp. It is very easy to set-up a PIN to activate a two-step verification PIN. Users have to enter it periodically once it is activated.

Here is how users can enable two F verification code on WhatsApp:

(1) go to your settings.

(2) go to your account.

(3) go to your two-step-verification

(4) ensure you create your pin, Add your email and all that...then you are go to good.... please make sure you write down your pin and don't forget it... what's app will keep asking you time to time for more security reasons. Have done mine already.
